Sportarena Streetball Team
We want to turn this thing into one of the most important streetballs in the world, where people could play ball, dunk and party like nowhere else. We are very serious abouth this tournament and we guarantee you that Sportarena 2010 would be way better than it was in 2009.
Registration started today
Enrollments for 1st stage have started Starting today, May 21st 2009, you can sign up for the 1st stage of the 2009 Sport Arena Streetball Championship.
The online sign up is free of any charge.
Sign up details:
- carrefully fill in the online application form in the "sign up" section of the tournament web site
- after the transmition of the form, the teams from Bucharest must present to Sport Arena for signing the disclamer and validating the sign up. Teams from outside Bucharest will phone to +4021.311.50.29 for team validation.
- Age cathegories are:
under 14 - in this cathegory are also included the pupils that have already 14 years but can make proof of the fact that during 2008 - 2009 schoolar year have taken the classes of a general school (8th grade)
14-18 years - in this cathegory are also included the pupils that have already 18 years but can make proof of the fact that during 2008 - 2009 schoolar year have taken the classes of a high school (12th grade)

over 35 years (old boys)
The 5 on 5 tournament will have (at least for the 1st stage) a pilot format that may suffer improvments. A number of maximum 16 teams will be accepted for the 1st stage (boys, girls, mixed in a single cathegory tournament). The games will be played in knock out system. Each game will have two halfs of 15 minutes each with a pause of 10 minutes. The games will be played on Friday and Saturday night, strating midnight. This is why the 5 on 5 tournament is only open to over 18 years persons.
Here you can find the application form for the 5 on 5 tournament. After filling it in, the form will be transmited to info@sportarena.ro. The teams from Bucharest must present to Sport Arena for signing the disclamer and validating the sign up. Teams from outside Bucharest will phone to +4021.311.50.29 for team validation.
