Sportarena Streetball Team
We want to turn this thing into one of the most important streetballs in the world, where people could play ball, dunk and party like nowhere else. We are very serious abouth this tournament and we guarantee you that Sportarena 2010 would be way better than it was in 2009.
3rd stage review
A summer love. Sport Arena Streetball by Aspirin Cardio
ith a new sponsor on the T-shirts of the participants and spectators, the third tournament Sport Arena Streetball by Aspirin Cardio had a high rhythm as opposed to the heat from Bucharest. All the participants tried to get in shape after weeks of barbeque that put basketball on hold. However, the ambition to win, accumulate points for Master lead to crazy games.
As usual, after the final whistle the participants forgot about hits and hard fouls and got together for a beer. The full time program of the tournament with 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 maintain the “streetball family” in Politehnica until the sun rise.
Basketball players and soldiers
Andrei Hrebenciuc came back at Sport Arena Streetball and he was not bad at all. As usual there were present pro basketball players such as Virgil St?nescu or Cristina Ciocan.
At long distance shots we had also “pro players”. Not basketball players but Americans from the US Embassy in Bucharest. The marines made it though to the streetballers who, obviously, did not pass through the military.
“The flying Turkish” vs “Superman”
The slam dunk contest was a classic one. Oynur Musledin duelled with Adrian Ben?e, and the girls from the streetball decided that the two should share the first place both at slam dunk and in their preferences. Considering that at this tournament nothing special was showed we consider that the dunkers reserve their best shots for the super contest from September at Master when the champions from CSU Asesoft Ploiesti would be present.
Wedding night on the basketball court
Romance is not dead. A bride was stolen and brought to the sport court Sport Arena. The „Bounty hunters” renounced to the usual clubs and came to basketball. The bride gave the starting signal to some of the games and the winners thank her for their luck.
Virgil Stanescu continued its campaign to promote great values through basketball
The capitan of the national basketball team provided the personalized T-shirts with Ion Creang?, Mihai Eminescu or ?tefan cel Mare as basketball players. Beside a drop of originality the buyers made also a good dead, the money being directed to supporting young basketball players.
